Welcome!
About
Hello! I’m Toby. I am a freelance actor, writer and dramaturge. After graduating from the University of East Anglia with first class honours in Scriptwriting and Performance, I went on to work for a wide variety of companies and productions, including Madame Tussauds London, before settling into my current role as a company dramaturge for Laughing Mirror Theatre.
In 2017 I received the Julian award for Best Short Play and I have been twice-nominated for the David and Jo Spinks Prize for Drama. I have also been reliably described as a decent chess-player, a chronic tea-drinker and a professional shambles.
I’m currently based in the North East, and at the minute I’m developing an original play for children.
